21. May 2023

The Slovak Paradise National Park is visited by more and more tourists every year, which increases the number of situations when people need help in an emergency. Every year, members of the Mountain Rescue Service in the Slovak Paradise intervene in various cases, some of which are directly related to cardiac arrest. It is in such a situation that the use of an AED defibrillator can save a life, as it can be used by anyone before the arrival of the Mountain Rescue Service.

Therefore, five automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) have been installed in the most visited locations of the Slovak Paradise.

These defibrillators are located in Podlesok, Čingov, Kláštorisko, Dedinky and Geravy.
They help to intervene quickly in an emergency and provide first aid, and they are designed so that even a layman can provide first aid with them.

On each device there is concise and concise information with illustrations on how to use it in an emergency.
