Crossing the gorges is difficult, especially due to snow conditions. Technical equipment is icy, slippery, hikes should be planned with sufficient time reserve and your equipment should be adapted to winter conditions. We recommend the use of hiking crampons or walking sticks. Continuous crossing on the frozen surface of the Hornád River is not possible. The ferrata in the Kysel Gorge is seasonally closed. The bridge over the strait in the Hornád Gorge, located between the Tomášovský View and the Letanovský Mill, is damaged; for safety reasons, access to the bridge is allowed for a maximum of 2 persons at a time. In the Tiesňava valley near Stratená, there was a slope slide, which damaged the entire hiking trail and the securing chains. The Tiesňava valley will therefore be closed for a long time until further notice.
