From 31.10.2025 to 5.11.2025 the hiking trail Vernár - Kopanecká cesta, Nižná podkova (red mark) will be closed due to the revitalization of the water flow. The ferrata in the Kysel Gorge is closed seasonally. Hikers are warned to take extra care on technical equipment, especially on wooden ladders, which are wet and slippery. We would also like to draw your attention to the higher water level in the gorges. The bridge over the gorge in the Hornád Gorge, located between the Tomášovský View and the Letanovský Mill, is damaged; for safety reasons, no more than 2 people are allowed on the bridge at a time. In the Tiesňava valley near Stratená, there was a slope slide, which damaged the entire hiking trail and the securing chains. The Tiesňava valley will therefore be closed for a long time until further notice.
